The QMS
procedures are divided into different heads covering
* Activities for Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)
* Activities for Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC)
* Umbrella Procedures
* Organization wide procedures directly or indirectly aiding
the project execution and the organization.
Project Management Life Cycle PMLC
is mainly focused to draw a complete project execution
plan, to ensure adherence to the schedule, to establish
smooth communication channels for spreading awareness among
all parties involved in executing the project. Proposal
making, Initiation, Estimation, Contract Review, Status
Tracking, Risk Monitoring, Closure & Release and
Implementation are the procedures followed in PMLC.

Project
Development Life Cycle
The procedures defined for PDLC are for core software
development phases viz. Requirements Management, Design,
Coding, and Testing.

Umbrella
Procedures
These procedures are followed throughout the life cycle
of the project. Software Configuration Management Procedure,
Data Collection and Analysis, Review Procedure are the
Umbrella procedures.
Organization wide procedures
The procedures defined at organization level are called
organization wide procedures viz. Quality Policy Manual,
Document Standards, QMS Revision Procedure, Technology
Change Management Procedure, Defect Prevention, Quality
Group Procedure, Audit Procedure, Inter-Group Commitment
Procedure, Senior Management Review Procedure and Training
Procedure.
